What to pitch

Propose a focused subject in clothing, interiors, objects, images or style language. Strong ideas have a distinct question, a useful explanation or comparison, and a reason a general reader would care. We welcome accessible essays and reported or explanatory pieces that do not depend on unsupported claims.

Make the case

Send a short summary of the central idea, the points you would cover and why your approach is distinct. Mention relevant experience only if it helps explain your perspective; do not imply credentials you do not hold. Tell us whether the idea has been published or offered elsewhere.
