Partnerships

Open Style Journal considers collaborations that suit its subject and leave readers able to distinguish commercial material from independent editorial work.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly defined projects such as labelled partner articles, commissioned explainers, themed editorial packages and placements linking readers to relevant partner material. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, format, timing and commercial relationship. A good fit helps readers understand a style-related idea rather than dressing up an advert as advice.

Partner placements

We may accept clearly marked partner placements across the site where the material is relevant to the publication and appropriate for readers. Placement does not buy editorial endorsement, a favourable review or control over other coverage. We reserve the right to decline material that is misleading, unsuitable or unclear about its purpose.

Labelling and boundaries

Paid or partner-supported material is labelled in plain language near the content. The label should make the relationship clear before a reader mistakes the material for independent coverage. Editorial conclusions remain separate from partnership terms, and any relevant connection is disclosed.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject, placement, commercial relationship and any relevant timing. We review proposals for fit and clarity; sending one does not guarantee acceptance.
